THE NEW PRAGUE CASTLE TOUR
300 CZK adults

EVERY DAY AT 2PM
Prague Castle dominates both the skyline and the history of the Czech capital like no other building. The world’s largest medieval castle has towered over the city since the 9th century and continues to awe and inspire today. The Castle, Pražský hrad, is a world unto itself with dozens of hidden corners and surprises. The remarkably harmonious ensemble of contrasting styles is the product of generations of gifted architects, culminating in the 20th century with the forgotten genius of Jože Plečnik. Our guides bring to life the legendary court of Rudolf II, the nightmares of Kafka and the very real struggles of the Velvet Revolution.
On this 3-hour tour we cover:
• Prague Castle
• Malá Strana - the Lesser Quarter
• Hradčany - the Castle District
• St Vitus’ Cathedral
• Strahov Monastery and Brewery
• St Nicholas’ Church
• Domeček Gestapo / StB Prison
• Wallenstein Palace
• Amazing panoramic views
• The Loreto
• St George’s Basilica
• The Garden of Eden
• ‘Mozart’s House’
• The Deer Moat
• Novy Svět - New World Street
• The Black Tower
We explore Malá Strana, dotted with the former palaces of the nobility and wander beyond the castle gates through picturesque Hradčany to show you the best views of the city. This 3-hour walking tour finishes in the Prague Castle gardens, overlooking the Old Town.

The macabre sight of Kutná Hora's bone chapel draws visitors from all over the world. Just one hour outside of Prague lies this gem of Bohemian history, home to much more than piles of skulls and bones. It was the economic power-house of the Kingdom of Bohemia and played a crucial role in the 15th century Hussite Wars.
On this all day tour we cover:
• The Sedlec Ossuary (Bone Chapel)
• Saint Barbara's Church
• Hrádek Castle
• The Hussite Wars
• Sankturin House
• The Plague Column
• Bohemia's oldest Cistercian Monastery
• Saint James' Church
• The Italian Court
• Royal Mint
• The Archdeanery
• Medieval Ruthardka Street
• The Jesuit College
• The Corpus Christi Chapel
• Stone House
Today Kutná Hora is one of the most popular destinations in the Czech republic because of its amazing collection of historic buildings, including the ghoulish Sedlec Ossuary, the Gothic masterpiece of St Barbara's Church and the splendour of the Italian Court. This rich heritage was born in the boom days when Kutná Hora competed with Prague economically and culturally, becoming the favourite residence of several Bohemian kings. How did it get so rich? They made money by making money... literally: they mined the silver that produced the 'Prague Groschen' - the hard currency of Central Europe at that time.
Meet us at the Old Town square, in front of the Czech Tourism Center.
* In order to keep this tour environmentally friendly and economical, we use public transport, which is the real Czech way to travel. Unfortunately this can occasionally mean delays. So please allow up to seven and a half hours for this six hour trip.
