is half-Czech, half-Swedish and is married to a Scotswoman. He grew up in Sweden, but visited friends and family in the then Czechoslovakia every summer. Although young, this first-hand experience of contemporary history made a strong impression on him, and he decided to come and work in the Czech Republic in 1999. Since then he’s been back twice.
