Franz Kafka once wrote, “Prague never lets you go…this dear little mother has sharp claws.” Lauren and her story are living proof of the grasp Prague’s claws can have on one. Originally from the US, she first visited ‘the Golden City of spires’ in the summer of 2006. The first time her feet hit the myriad of cobblestone streets she became enchanted by Prague and all its beauty. By the time summer ended she had completely fallen in love. She returned in 2007 for a visit, which only furthered her obsession with finding a way to move back. And so it is for the love of the place (not a person) that she returned in March 2009, this time for good. Lauren, a free-spirited, people-person and traveler-at-heart has found tour guiding to be the perfect outlet for her to share her passion of Prague with fellow travelers. She does not believe in holding up an umbrella or flag, but she will bounce around for you to make sure you all are still behind her!
